2020, book 4: Fluent in 3 months, Benny Lewis

The subtitle is "How anyone at any age can learn to speak any language from anywhere in the world." Presumably in the manner most excellent as devised and perfected by Benny Lewis, Esquire, most recently of His Majesty's Grenadiers and who, upon his return from the Orient and all manner of lands, has writ and noted here his experiences in learning the speech of sundry peoples.

There's not really anything else to do than make fun of the writing. For someone who prides himself on speaking a dozen languages, Benny sure is a fucking piss-poor writer. The handful of glaringly-obvious tips he spends nearly 250 pages on could have been presented as six bullet points, three of which would still do nothing but repeat the other three.

One of those rare books I might actually get rid of.
