3: Eddie Condon's Treasury of Jazz, edited by Eddie Condon & Richard Gehman

Nowhere near as good as We Called It Music: Condon sounds like a bit of a jerk in parts and the final few fiction chapters didn't hold my interest (and caused the book to remain partly read for months).

2: The Amazing World of John Scarne, John Scarne

I had to say I'd rather read Scarne...

Half of it is egomaniacal tripe, the other half is poorly written.

Pathetic.

1: Marked Cards and Loaded Dice, Frank Garcia

A guide on detecting cheating at cards and dice. Garcia is hella preachy, and I couldn't care less about "the innocent American G.I., taken for millions of dollars every year". I'd rather read John Scarne.

Ah well.

2010

I bought a house.

I think reading may suffer as a result of bathroom demolition and whatnot.
