2018: Part 1
- 1: Graphic Discovery, Howard Wainer
- Interesting. A little preachy and repetitive at times.
- 2: Northern Lights, Philip Pullman
- Fun.
- 3: The Subtle Knife, Philip Pullman
- Eventually fun, but not as much as Northern Lights.
- 4: Little Money Street: in search of Gypsies and their music in the South of France, Fernanda Eberstadt
- Interesting memoir.
- 5: Thinking Statistically, Uri Bram
- Fine. Should re-read.
- 6: I Like Jazz, Donald Myrus
- Short YA introduction to jazz
- 7: De zaak 40/61: een reportage, Harry Mulisch
- Mulisch's columns about the Eichmann trial. Memoir form. He writes well, of course. Frustratingly, no translations for (often long) German quotations. His reasons are admirable, but I think would have been as well served by a copy of both the German and translated texts as by just the German.
