11: Fixing My Gaze: A Scientist's Journey into Seeing in Three Dimensions, Susan R. Barry

Very interesting. I've had alternating exotropia my whole life, and lack stereo vision. No magic eye for me. Susan learned to see in 3D when she was nearly 50 years old.

The book is a little repetitive, and I'm unlikely to re-read it, but it has a good bibliography.

10: The Queen of the Damned, Anne Rice

Pretty good. I think The Vampire Lestat was the best of the three. The first half of The Queen... was excellent, but some of the latter was not nearly as interesting.

9: A Lion Called Christian, Anthony Bourke and John Rendall

Cute and funny.

The 2009 additions are absurdly rushed.

8: The Vampire Lestat, Anne Rice

Better than the first one!

On to the next.

7: Hackers: Heroes of the Computer Revolution, Steven Levy

Appropriately enough, I read this online. It's freely available on Project Gutenberg.

Quite entertaining.
